The Redwood Empire Chapter of Trout Unlimited (RETU), the Clean River Alliance and the Russian River Wild Steelhead Society, are hosting a river cleanup day (the Russian River Spring Cleanup Float) on the Russian River.

The event will be followed by a barbecue for participants at Burke’s Canoes. RETU will provide lunch and refreshments afterwards.

Volunteers signing up to paddle/float must be experienced paddlers, able to swim, and be 18 years of age or over. All volunteers should bring a hat, sunscreen, water and a change of clothes.
